- Engineer in the materials and processes group
- Researching and sourcing new advanced materials to comply with new and existing technologies; adhesives, plastics, glasses
- Developing new and optimizing existing processes
- Development, characterization and analysis of materials and processes impact on product specifications and performance
- Provide support to optics and mechanics development and engineering units
- Over 2 years of experience in the industry
- High level of technical writing in English; test plans, protocols and lab reports
- High level of independency; planning, analysis and deduction
- Hands on, working in chemical labs
- Ability to work under demanding mile stones; targets and time lines
- Knowledge of surface chemistry; treatment and analysis (plasma, corona, priming, contact angle, surface energy…) advantage
- Experience in preparation and testing materials for mechanical properties (young's modulus, impact, elasticity etc.)
- Experience, Knowledge and knowhow on adhesive chemistry (acrylic, epoxy, UV, thermal etc.) Advantage
- Background in optical materials and processes advantage
- M.Sc.\ Ph.D. in chemical eng.\material eng.\applied chemistry.
