Senior UI Engineer

Ariga specializes in database infrastructure and development tools. Its flagship product, Atlas, is a schema management solution that simplifies database schema migrations, design, and deployments, incorporating the "schema-as-code" principle. The company also builds and maintains a commercial SaaS platform on top of Atlas called Atlas Cloud, and is the official maintainer of Ent, a successful open-source project with a thriving community.

The company is in a post-series A stage, funded by some of the top VC firms in the world. It’s located at Migdal Hashachar (near Rakevet Merkaz).

Job Description

As a senior UI engineer in the company, you will:

• Own engineering initiatives end-to-end from idea, to design, implementation and testing to deliver experiences that developers love.
• Develop and maintain the company’s design system and UI infrastructure.
• Design and develop a desktop application from the ground up, ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience across platforms using modern frameworks like Electron or similar.
• Contribute to and support successful and loved open-source projects.
• Continuously improve the tooling and infrastructure we use to build products at Ariga.
• Our stack: Go, React, React, Relay, GraphQL, Radix UI, React Flow.

This role is a unique opportunity to build tools and infrastructure for developers in an open-source community as well as commercial products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience programming frontend applications in TypeScript, React and GraphQL.
• Experience building pixel-perfect, responsive, and performant applications from design.
• Experience building SaaS and/or enterprise web applications.
