Project Finance Analyst

About the role:

We are looking for a Project Finance Analyst to support the financial planning and analysis of renewable energy projects. In this role, you will develop complex financial models, conduct economic analyses, and assist the FP&A team with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience, strong Excel and VBA skills, and a passion for the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the feasibility and profitability of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage, etc.).
2. Support the financing of renewable energy projects
3. Conduct economic and financial analysis
4. Assist the corporate FP&A team - Budget, control, business forecasts and KPI’s
5. Support the financial reporting process

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. 2-4 years of experience as a Project Finance Analyst – Required
2. Advanced Excel proficiency – Required
3. Experience with VBA – Required
4. Experience in renewables or infrastructure is an advantage
5. Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics
6. Strong analytical and data analysis skills
7. Collaborative team player
8. Self-motivated with a strong ability to learn independently
