Position: BI Team Leader – Data Analytics Group

About The Role

Elbit Systems is seeking a dynamic BI Team Leader to drive the success of our greenfield Data Analytics initiative. In this leadership role,

you’ll manage a team of BI developers and oversee the design and implementation of innovative data solutions using Microsoft Data Fabric and Power BI.

Lead a global scale Digital Transformation supporting thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Mentor: Manage and grow a high-performing BI team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.

Technical Leadership: Oversee Power BI ecosystem, ensuring best practices in dashboard design and reporting.

BI Strategy & Roadmap: Define and implement BI strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring impactful reporting tools.

Collaboration: Work with HR, Finance, Engineering, and other units to develop BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making.

Data Integration & Modeling: Lead efforts to design and optimize data models, ensuring seamless integration across systems (ERP, MES, PLM, etc.) and working closely with Data Engineers.

Promote a Data-Driven Culture: Encourage stakeholders across the organization to leverage BI tools, data insights, and dashboards for better decision-making.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay current with BI industry trends and tools, driving innovation within the BI platform and recommending new solutions to enhance data capabilities.

Project Management: Manage BI projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

השכלה

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.

ניסיון מקצועי

Experience

• 5+ years in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role managing BI teams.
• Proven expertise with Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service), and related BI technologies.
• Strong experience in end-to-end BI project delivery: from requirements gathering and data modeling to report design and visualization.
  
  

• Strong SQL, ETL, and Data Warehousing experience.
• Experience with cloud-based BI tools (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with an analytical approach to designing scalable BI solutions.
  
  

• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
