Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a MF Developer to join our team in a large financial organization central Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain mainframe applications
• Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to enhance performance, reliability, and functionality of mainframe applications
• Work with DB2 and VSAM for database management, data retrieval and data storage
• Utilize TSO for interacting with mainframe systems, executing commands, and managing datasets.
• Perform code reviews, provide guidance to junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Monitor and optimize the performance of mainframe applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed
• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing and support during the deployment phase

Requirements

-3 years of experience as a Mainframe Developer

-Proficiency in Cobol, CICS, and mainframe technologies

-Experience working with DB2, VSAM, JCL and TSO

-Experience working with mainframe systems and programming paradigms

-Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize mainframe applications
