Nexxen is seeking a talented BI Front-End Developer to join our team in Tel Aviv. This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing interactive dashboards and visualizations that make complex data accessible and actionable for our business users. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of user experience (UX) in data presentation, along with strong technical expertise in front-end technologies and data visualization tools.

What You’ll Do

• Dashboard Development: Design, build, and deploy BI dashboards and reports to provide insights that support business decision-making.
• Data Visualization: Transform complex datasets into clear, meaningful visual representations and ensure they are intuitive, responsive, and easy to use.
• Application Management: Manage and maintain BI-application user permissions and roles, ensuring secure and efficient access for users across teams. Oversee Looker application settings and integrations to optimize user experience and meet data governance standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to assess requirements, understand data needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Optimization: Enhance existing dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability, leveraging best practices in data visualization.
• Front-End Development: Use BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, etc.) and front-end programming languages (e.g., HTML, CSS) to implement custom functionalities and visuals.
• Quality Assurance: Test and validate dashboards and visualizations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across platforms and devices.
  
  

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in BI development, data visualization, or front-end development with a focus on BI tools.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, and experience with front-end languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Strong preference for Looker expertise (LookML).
• UX/UI Design: Strong understanding of UX/UI principles in data visualization, with an ability to create user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing dashboards.
• Data Handling: Familiarity with SQL and other database languages to query and manipulate data as needed.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about data presentation and end-user needs.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise messages.
  
  

• Experience with advanced analytics and statistical tools (e.g., Python, R).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and on-prem BI solutions.
