DevOps Manager

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Team Leader to drive our DevOps initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in DevOps practices and experience in leading a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the DevOps team for effective collaboration and productivity.
• Project Oversight: Manage projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Problem-Solving: Efficiently address and resolve technical issues.
• Strategic Planning: Align team goals with organizational objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements and stay current with industry trends.
• Pipeline Management: Design, review, and configure CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes and AWS deployments.
• Source Control: Administer and manage source control tools and repositories.
• Methodologies and Tools: Implement and integrate new methodologies and technologies.
• Decision Making: Make informed decisions under pressure.
• Environment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of QA, Staging, Production, and Hotfix environments.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of proven DevOps expertise and 2+ years of team management experience
• CI/CD Expertise: Deep understanding of CI/CD practices and pipeline design.
• Cloud Services: Proficient with AWS and Azure for application deployment and management.
• Containerization: Skilled in Kubernetes and OpenShift, including cluster management and Helm charts.
• Scripting and Coding: Strong in Groovy, Python, or PowerShell for automation and integration.
• Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Salt.
• Version Control: Advanced knowledge of GIT, including repository management and branching strategies.
• Build Tools: Familiar with Maven, Gradle, NPM, or .NET for build automation.
• Server Administration: Experienced with Linux and Windows server administration.
• Database Management: Basic knowledge of MSSQL and other databases is a plus.
