Qualitest is growing and we are looking for our next FinOps Engineer to join our team in Tel Aviv!

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report on cloud spending and usage patterns.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
• Work with budgeting tools and cloud cost management platforms to forecast and track cloud spend.
• Collaborate with alongside engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment of cloud usage with financial targets and operational requirements.
• Build and maintain dashboards / detailed reports on cloud spend and optimization efforts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest in cloud technologies and FinOps practices to continuously drive improvements.
• Assist in financial planning by providing forecasts of cloud spending.
• Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to senior management.
• Negotiate with external service providers to secure optimal pricing and service agreements.
  
  

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and their pricing models.
• Experience with cloud cost management tools and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to negotiate prices with external vendors – great advantage
