Nodejs Developer

A startup company in the Fintech field, recently partnering with one of Israel's largest banks in an initiative to completely redevelop outdated banking systems into cutting-edge, cloud-based platforms (not just migration).

Located in Tel Aviv, the company offers a hybrid work model with two remote days per week. The company has 40 employees and is experiencing significant growth.

The role is part of the development team, reporting to a Team Lead.

Tech stack: AWS, Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB.

Responsibilities-

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build and manage databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, both independently and in collaboration with the team
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes

Requirements-

• 5 years of hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
• Front-end development knowledge, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, would be a valuable asset (not mandatory)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
