System Manufacturing Engineer

Role Overview:

Responsible for all engineering and technical aspects of the projects under their responsibility (production and integrated engineering in development). Serve as the technical Point of Contact (POC) between the production headquarters and the business units, engineering departments, procurement, customers, and manufacturing plants. Responsible for guiding the creation of product cost models and defining the production line specifications. Engineering responsibility for the product throughout its lifecycle – from development to production and maintenance. Implement integrated engineering from the factory side, including product development and ongoing production. Define the product testing and manufacturability requirements in collaboration with engineering teams. The role reports to the relevant Manufacturing Operations Manager.

Key Requirements:

• Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Integration).
• Master’s degree in System Engineering – an advantage.
• Experience in multidisciplinary design or system integration – an advantage.
• Experience in transitioning from development to production.
• High proficiency in English.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficiency in OFFICE tools, mechanical CAD software, and failure analysis methodology.

Relevant Experience:

• Experience in mechanical design, electronic systems development, enclosures design, or manufacturing engineering of complex systems.
• Involvement in design from the concept phase through to production, including ongoing support and maintenance at the customer site.
• Strong system-wide vision with experience in cross-functional roles, manufacturing engineering of complex systems (hardware, software, mechanical).
• Experience across all disciplines, including software, mechanical, and electronic aspects.
• The candidate will act as a representative of production within engineering, and as a representative of engineering within production.
