Research Student Needed for Algorithm Development at Elbit!!

At Elbit’s Land Division, we are developing the next generation of autonomous combat platforms, precision-guided weapon systems, and many other exciting projects.

In the Information Fusion Algorithms team, we research and develop algorithms supporting full autonomy for land and aerial systems, including spatial world model creation using Sensor Fusion methods, mapping and localization, and motion planning.

This is an applied research position, requiring a strong academic background, mathematical maturity, and advanced programming skills.

We are looking for a student with a significant algorithmic background and a passion for growth in this field.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Advanced degree student in an algorithmic research field – required.
• Proven programming skills in Python – required; knowledge of C++ is an advantage.
• Experience working with computer vision algorithms and/or Deep Learning – required.
• Familiarity with classical computer vision and image processing algorithms – an advantage.
• Experience with navigation, estimation, and motion planning algorithms – an advantage.
• Availability for at least two and a half workdays per week.
