AI Python Software Engineer

The AI Python Software Engineer role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of artificial intelligence and software development. This position combines deep Python expertise with AI/ML knowledge to create intelligent, scalable systems that solve complex business problems.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications and systems using Python and modern AI/ML frameworks
• Build and optimize large language model (LLM) integrations and AI agents
• Implement and maintain scalable microservices architectures for AI applications
• Develop and optimize prompts and embeddings for various AI use cases
• Create and maintain vector databases for efficient information retrieval
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing and code reviews
• Optimize system performance and resource utilization
• Stay current with latest developments in AI/ML technologies and best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Python
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Demonstrated experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly LLMs and AI agents
• Experience with asynchronous programming in Python
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API design
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, and modern development tools
• Experience with testing frameworks, particularly pytest

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-agent systems and communication protocols
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and optimization
• Understanding of different AI agent architectures (ReAct, Chain of Thought)
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask for API development
• Background in system optimization and performance tuning
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Proficiency with major AI/ML libraries and frameworks:
• LangChain or LlamaIndex
• OpenAI API, Anthropic API, or similar
• Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus)
