Senior Linux Administrator - 3223

A leading company in digital privacy , security and performance solutions field is looking for a Senior Linux Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers (Debian-based and RPMbased distributions).

• Design, implement, and optimize system configurations and automation solutions

using open-source tools.

• Ensure security and compliance through patch management, vulnerability

assessments, and system hardening.

• Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and maintain uptime across

environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that align with

business objectives.

• Lead and document system improvements, disaster recovery plans, and best

practices.

• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior team members.

• Travel to designated locations as needed (1 week per month).

• Participate in a comprehensive 1-month training program in Hong Kong.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Linux Administrator or related role.

• Linux Expertise: Extensive experience with Debian-based and RPM-based

operating systems.

• Open Source Tools: In-depth knowledge of open-source tools for system

management, automation, and monitoring (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Nagios, etc.).

• Networking: Familiarity with networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting

tools.

• Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages for automation

tasks.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex

environments.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-availability and scalable environments.

• Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Certifications such as RHCE, LFCS, or similar are a plus.
