Our SaaS platform serves healthcare organizations by leveraging cloud computing and cloud architecture, data pipelines and machine learning models.

We seek a highly skilled, experienced and hands-on Backend Architect to join our team in Herzliya, Israel, that would lead our technical roadmap and commit to its execution with the rest of our talented engineers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set architectural standards for the entire R&D department

• Implement various frameworks to increase delivery velocity & help product maintenance

• Build an architectural roadmap and prioritize it alongside our on-going product delivery requirements

• Meet the business vision and strategy, in accordance with the product innovation backlog

• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to find the right balance of promoting architectural agendas.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering

• 3+ years in a software engineering architect role, or in a management role, in SaaS companies

• High proficiency in Python or Node.js - including web frameworks (eg. Django, Flask, etc)

• High proficiency in AWS - significant understanding of general cloud infrastructure, as well as AWS managed services

• Experience with ML/AI focused products - understanding the core workflows & the architectures to support them

• Experience planning & building data pipelines

• Proven experience in working in an agile, dynamic, startup environment

• Ability to balance between on-going product requirements & technical roadmap agendas

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science

• Data-oriented personality, analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude

• A team player and a can-do attitude, delivery-oriented

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal - for on-going communication with our offshore partners.
