Product Data Manager

We are looking for a Data Product Manager to lead data-driven initiatives that integrate insights into product development. In this role, you will manage strategic data projects, focusing on defining data needs, establishing a single source of truth, and providing a transparent and user-friendly view of business data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

● Integrate data-driven insights into product development processes.

● Ensure that data standards, naming conventions, and data quality measures are adhered to across all products and processes.

● Align data governance strategies with overall business objectives and product goals.

● Identify data collection needs for new and existing products.

● Define data requirements, sources, and naming conventions.

● Ensure that data is accurately collected, maintained, and used consistently.

● Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive data integration and governance.

● Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure data-related initiatives are aligned.

● Oversee the data aspects of the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.

● Ensure that data products are user-friendly, intuitive, and meet the needs of target users.

● Monitor data quality and usage metrics.

● Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance data effectiveness.

● Ensure timely and high-quality execution of data-related projects.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience in data product management and data-driven decision-making.

● Strong understanding of data conventions, collection requirements, and naming standards.

● Ability to lead strategic data projects, including mapping and defining needs, establishing a single source of truth for company data, and building a transparent and user-friendly business view.

● Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.

● Minimum of 4 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.

● Strong understanding of data technologies, data engineering, and data science methodologies.

● Proficient in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).

● Experience with data governance tools and frameworks.

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Strong verbal and written communication skills.

● Proven experience in managing complex data projects with multiple stakeholders.

● Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.

● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

● Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
