Operations Manager

We are looking for an Operation & Control Manager to manage Berurim Nursery, improve seedling quality, and systemize the Nursery's way of working, Coordinate OPS unit projects through multiple interfaces and professionals.

To verify processes and investments are align with legal requirements. Leading OPS Safety and quality roadmap, Leading purchasing processes, and seasonal recruitment processes. Support planning and process improvement.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Own Berurim Farm Nursery growth readiness. Verify improvement of seedling quality and define a systematic process.

• Assure seasonal labor plans (annual, per season, actual) and recruitment execution are aligned with OPS managers.

• Lead OPS investment projects to execution on time and within budget, coordinate with OPS managers and other interfaces.

• Verify Ops projects are aligned with supporting functions (Legal, HR, Finance, etc.).

• Lead systems projects, new processes implementations, equipment installation.

• Leading seasonal teams recruiting plan, agreements, Season ongoing needs and coordination.

• Define, adjust and document business processes (work instructions, process flows, etc.) to support the operation and controlling methodologies.

Personal Capabilities and skills:

• Project management proven experience

• Advanced planning capabilities (models in excel, ERP systems preferred)

• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills across diverse stakeholder groups

• Agronomy background- Is a plus

• High energy and ability to multi-task

• Excellent Communication skills, Both Verbal and Written

• Strong Organization skills

• Strong Problem-Solving skills

• Training and coaching skills

• Adaptable to Change

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

• 7+ experience as a Team Manager (Farms management, project teams, etc.)

• Experience process design, process modelling and process improvement.

• Planning and reporting experience (ERP systems preferred)

• Computer Literate
