Embedded Software Engineer

A global American company listed on NASDAQ, providing comprehensive solutions in the transportation and energy sectors, is looking for a Low-level Developer. The company develops innovative software products based on machine learning and IoT technologies, aimed at improving efficiency in these industries.

The company has a team of 500 employees globally, with 180 employees in Israel. The office is located in Park Yakum, and shuttles are provided from the train station in the area. The company offers a hybrid work model, allowing employees to work from home twice a week.

Responsibilities:

• Low-level development in C for embedded systems
• Work with drivers and microcontrollers to interface software with hardware
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize embedded solutions for transportation and energy sectors
• Develop real-time systems ensuring high reliability and efficiency
• Debug and troubleshoot low-level software issues and optimize

Requirements

• 2 years of Embedded Team Leader experience
• 5 years hands-on experience in development, implementation and troubleshooting of software (C/C++) on embedded platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and writing skills in both English and Hebrew.
• BSc in Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, or any other highly quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
• Deep familiarity with EMBEDDED LINUX, RTOS such as MQX and multi-threading Applications
• Communication interfaces; Ethernet,SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, USB.
• Experience working with Embedded Linux (user space development and debugging, Yocto, Buildroot, low-level drivers).
• Experience with scripting and build script
• Experience working with GIT
