About the Position

Imagen is seeking a Tech Lead - Full Stack Engineer to join our R&D department and lead our FS Team. As a Tech Lead, you will drive technical excellence, guide architectural decisions, and support a talented team of engineers in building robust applications across both frontend and backend systems.

This role will require a balance of hands-on development and strategic leadership, aimed at optimizing team output and overall product quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable front and back-end software applications, from architecture to high-level programming and systems integration.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of team members, guiding code reviews, best practices, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and align on project requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet these needs.
• Drive technical improvements and innovation within the team, staying updated with modern web technologies and performance best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, with at least 2 years in a tech lead role or in a position with team leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and one or more modern front-end frameworks (Vue, React, or Angular).
• Experience with backend development using Node.js or Python (an advantage).
• Proficiency in architectural design and leading complex technical projects, from concept to deployment.
• Experience with Electron.js and working with NoSQL or SQL databases (an advantage).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements and mentor team members effectively.
