Information Technology Engineer

A solar energy startup develops advanced technological solutions for medium- to large-scale solar sites. Their innovative technology maximizes the potential of solar energy by optimizing land use and utilizing sliding panels for continuous sun exposure throughout the day.

The company employs 120 people, has paying customers in Israel and abroad, and was acquired by a larger corporation three years ago.

Location: Jerusalem.

About the role

• Lead IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Support over 120 employees with helpdesk issues- video conference calls, wi-fi connections, software installation, account management –onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure, in the office and in the company’s projects.
• Be responsible for IT equipment- manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to make recommendations for IT improvements.

Requirements-

• Experience in configuring and supporting office software applications .
• Proven experience of on-hands and managing office IT infrastructure, including network, servers, and workstations.
• Strong knowledge of IT security practices and protocols.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in both office and industrial settings.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English level.
