Role overview

As our Budget Analyst, you will support the financial department of projects and overall budgeting processes. You will assist with budget preparation, financial analysis, and the monitoring of project resources. In this role, you will need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with various teams. You will be responsible for analyzing budget proposals, monitoring actual spending, and ensuring financial accuracy to support informed decision-making across the company.

In this role you’ll be reporting directly to the CFO and working under his guidance.

Key responsibilities

·        Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

·        Collaborate with departments to ensure budgets align with company objectives.

·        Analyze budget proposals, identify risks, and recommend necessary adjustments.

·        Track and monitor actual spending versus approved budgets, explaining variances.

·        Prepare Analytical reports for management and support decision-making with ad-hoc analysis.

·        Recommend cost-saving measures and conduct cost-benefit analyses.

·        Ensure budgeting processes comply with company policies and standards.

·        Provide financial guidance to teams and assist in audits as needed.

·        Offer training on budgeting tools and processes.

Skills & Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.

·        At least 3 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or a related role.

·        Strong understanding of financial principles and budgeting processes.

·        Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, ERP systems, etc.

·        Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

·        Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial

coworkers and teams.

·        Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
