C/C++ Engineer (AI System Validation, 6-Month Contract)

Budget - USD 10 - 22 Hourly

• Full-time, 8-hour daily schedule with a required 4-hour overlap in PST
• Notice Period: 2 weeks
• Contract Length: 6 Months
• Experience Requirement:
• Minimum of 4 years in software engineering, with mandatory expertise in C or C++ programming
  
  

• Review and uphold quality standards for AI-generated code/solutions, ensuring best practices are followed
• Manage the development lifecycle, set clear project priorities, and establish goals and deadlines
• Apply in-depth C/C++ programming knowledge to address complex coding issues encountered during AI validation
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, promoting open communication and ongoing improvement
• Ensure AI-generated code’s accuracy, efficiency, and reliability through careful validation
• Partner with cross-functional teams to advance AI system capabilities and optimize integrations
• Analyze team members’ code and provide constructive feedback to maintain high software development standards
• Proactively contribute to open-source GitHub repositories, improving or adding features to impact large codebases (50K+ lines)
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4+ years in software engineering with a focus on C/C++
• Proven leadership skills, ideally with experience guiding software engineering teams
• Advanced knowledge of C/C++ and software development best practices
• Experience with AI systems and code-creation tools is a plus
• Familiarity with GitHub for contributing to or maintaining public repositories
• Capable of training LLM models with stable, scalable backend components using the latest coding standards across multiple languages and frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills, along with critical and strategic thinking capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in English, both written and verbal
