Role Description

This is a volunteer role as a Full Stack Engineer at Shmone. We are looking for a skilled RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Systems Developer with expertise in vector databases and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RAG systems, experience with implementing and optimizing vector search algorithms, and a passion for developing scalable, high-performance AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement RAG systems with a focus on vector databases and search algorithms.

• Optimize existing RAG frameworks to enhance performance, scalability, and accuracy.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RAG systems into various applications and platforms.

• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in RAG technologies and vector search methodologies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to RAG system implementation and performance.

• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and best practices for RAG systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing and implementing RAG systems.

• Strong proficiency in working with vector databases and search algorithms.

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and LLMs.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
