Manager, Software and Devops

NVIDIA is looking for an outstanding experienced manager to join a leading software and DevOps team. The team is developing an innovative internal on-premise cloud grid solution. In this role, you will manage a team of 8-10 engineers, lead the development of our cloud platform and collaborate with cross-company teams. The development includes both Backend and frontend in a microservices architecture, databases, virtualization, networking and many more technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage a team of software and Devops engineers
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to foster team growth.
• Build internal best in class software cloud solutions for effective, high-quality development and release efforts.
• Develop virtualization and system capabilities for a verity of Operating systems.
• Be a part of an experienced team with a great atmosphere.
• Collaborate with multiple cross domain teams to provide the best solutions to our customers.
  
  

What We Need To See

• B.Sc. (or equivalent experience) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
• 7+ overall years of experience in software development and DevOps
• 3+ years of experience in a managerial role.
• Background in designing, implementing, and debugging software. Eexperience in software design and architecture principles.
• Capable of multi-tasking, ability to drive both people and tasks.
• Eexperience in Python.
• Experience in microservices architecture, design patterns, SOLID concepts.
• Solid understanding in Linux and operating system
• Familiarity with Docker
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated leadership with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  
  

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Track record of delivering high-quality work on time and meeting project deadlines.
• Extensive experience with operating systems and virtualization technologies.
• Experience in Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Kubernetes, vagrant, Docker, and similar technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD methodologies, Jenkins pipelines, etc.) as well as expert level knowledge in the Python.
