8fig is looking for a passionate and driven Junior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team in Tel Aviv, Israel!

As a Junior Fullstack Engineer, you will be developing new tools using innovative low-code platform, while working on our backend across our different domains in increasing-frequency, in correlation to your abilities. Moreover you will get the chance to work on our existing React app, maintain it and take it to the next level. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on full-stack experience and contribute to impactful projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and build new low-code front-end applications to meet business needs.
- Gradually take ownership of backend Node.js features, contributing to our business and the platform’s scalability and performance.
- Maintain and improve existing Frontend React-based application to deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Write impactful, clean & efficient code that will drive our business forward.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Continuously learn and implement new technologies to improve development processes.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A strong desire to learn and grow as a Fullstack Engineer.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with React.
- Exposure to backend development using Node.js or similar technologies.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL or NoSQL).
- Experience with low-code or no-code platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms.
- Exposure to Git or other version control systems.
- Hands-on experience through internships, personal projects, or academic work.
- This position is also suitable for undergraduate students with at most 1 semester left and the ability to work at least 80% of full-time hours.
