What You’ll Do

· Actively monitor our environment for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

· Respond promptly to security incidents, taking decisive action to mitigate risks.

· Create clear, detailed reports that outline incidents, resolutions, and key takeaways.

· Enhance our detection and prevention systems, ensuring we stay ahead of emerging threats.

· Develop custom tools, detections, playbooks, automations, and methodologies to enhance our team capabilities.

· Collect and analyze relevant threat intelligence, transforming it into actionable insights to strengthen our security posture.

What You’ll Bring

· Basic Qualifications

o At least 1 year of experience in Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or Security Operations Center roles.

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

o Deep understanding of the adversarial mindset, attack vectors, and familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework / Cyber Kill Chain, and the latest attack trends and threats.

o Proven experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL).

o Proven experience with Microsoft 365 environments and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

o Good understanding of Windows OS internals

· Preferred Qualifications:

o A continuous learner who actively participates in CTF challenges on platforms like TryHackMe, Hack The Box, Blue Team Labs, or Let's Defend.

o Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Powershell, C#, C/ C++).

o Hands-on experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering.

o Knowledge of cloud security and application security (AppSec).

o Possession of hands-on certifications such as OSDA, CDSA, BTL1, or BTL2.
