Automation Engineer

A startup company in the Automotive field developing a vehicle software management system. The solution integrates a machine learning algorithm that can detect software behavior issues and predict crash events. Additionally, the system can remotely fix software issues in real time, provide quick software updates, all without requiring the vehicle to be taken offline.

This allows manufacturers to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition, while drivers can enjoy a smooth driving experience free from unexpected software malfunctions.

The company's development aims to prevent bugs upfront and reduce costly service calls (recalls) in the automotive industry.

Located in Tel Aviv (near the light rail station), they offer a hybrid work model with two days in the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays). The company has about 85 employees globally, 53 of whom are based in Israel.

As part of the role, you will be a member of a team of 6 automation developers, reporting to the team leader. The primary programming language used is C, with some Python involved.

Requirements-

• 3 years of experience as a QA / Automation Engineer
• Proven experience in a programming language (C/C++)
• Proven experience in Python
• Experience with automation/DevOps tools
• Experience in agile development
• Experience in embedded systems and compilers
• Excellent understanding of QA processes and methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills
