Analyst

CyberWell is seeking a stellar Arabic Analyst in the fields of WEBINT/SOCMINT to join our growing team! This position is full-time and is available for immediate start. We work in a hybrid format and are in our Tel Aviv office 3 days a week.

We drive the enforcement and improvement of community standards and hate speech policies across the digital space, while empowering efforts to eradicate Jew-hatred with data. CyberWell is the premier research, identification, and monitoring center for tracking antisemitism across social media platforms in multiple languages, globally.

About You

A successful candidate will be a detail oriented WEBINT enthusiast who is passionate about information extraction and research, keen on policy and policy development, and likes to dive deep into data (both raw data and big data). You enjoy sticking to step-by-step processes; you like methodical work but are naturally curious and come up with creative questions to understand what you are looking at differently. We are looking for a trustworthy individual who can manage their time in a hybrid setting, thrives on driving their work forward, and wants to be part of a team that is dedicated to a greater unifying mission. This position is ideal for someone who has experience in military intelligence, OSINT/WEBINT, or has recently joined the job-market, with relevant courses and skills, and knows that they want to pursue a career in Research, Data Analysis, or Compliance.

Responsibilities of your job include

Analysts work under the direction of the Head of Research. To equip you with the best knowledge for your position, you will be trained on various WEBINT tools and taught by experienced veterans.

As an analyst on the research team you will play an integral role carrying out our monitoring and vetting process. You will pursue deeper areas of research, using qualitative and quantitative analysis, including focused reports, profiles, and other data-based initiatives. Your work will generate the data insights and analysis necessary to showcase CyberWell’s work in conferences, campaigns, and major reports.

The day-to-day of your job will include

-       Data extraction, collection, and analysis (OSINT)

-       Processing and vetting large amounts of data

-       Flagging trends and patterns

-       Cooperation on automated data collection, product, research, etc.

-       Assisting with research and data-based reports and content

-       Gaining expertise in digital policy compliance and safety

Qualifications

Identification with CyberWell’s mission

Native Arabic

High-level English

Previous WEBINT and/or intelligence experience - 2 years or relevant courses advantage

Experience in the field of antisemitism, hate speech, or discrimination as a researcher/analyst - advantage

Proficiency with social network tools and metrics - advantage

Hebrew (written and spoken) - advantage

Additional language (native level) - advantage
