Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Linux system engineer to manage systems based on UNIX (AIX) and Linux operating systems. The role includes specification, setup, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure. You will be responsible for infrastructure improvements and changes, including automation and integration with DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain UNIX (AIX) and Linux-based systems.
• Drive infrastructure improvements, automation, and integration with DevOps processes.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration – mandatory.
• Proven experience in Linux-based system setup and management (RedHat/Ubuntu) – mandatory.
• Experience in enterprise environments – strong advantage.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as BitBucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes – strong advantage.
• Familiarity with C programming language.
• Knowledge of technologies like Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, SSH, XFS, SSL – strong advantage.
• Scripting skills in Bash and Python – strong advantage.
• Networking knowledge – advantage.
• Familiarity with AIX and AS400 operating systems – advantage.
• Experience in virtual environments based on VMware.
• Experience with Tomcat, JBOSS, and WAS environments – advantage.
