New Product Introduction Engineer

Get SAT is looking for a NPI Engineer to join our winning team.

As an NPI Engineer, you will oversee the process that takes an idea from initial working prototype to final product going into production.

What you’ll do:

Construct and maintain BOMs for electromechanical products, product documentation, jig design, tools, and DFX

Serve as a source of technical knowledge in operations and produce multi-functional collaborations with teams including R&D, supply chain, quality, product, and more

Technically manage and control turn-key projects / online and overseas suppliers throughout the project life cycle and after its release

Develop and implement product changes (ECO, waivers) and configuration control

Manage and execute FAIs on subcontractor sites

Verify that production meets goals, production output, and quality standards

Define all documentation required to manufacture and deliver products correctly (inspection procedure, assembly instructions, etc.)

Provide support for operational engineering processes between EOL, FMEA, problem root analysis, continuous improvement, and audit

Support ongoing manufacturing processes, training subcontractors and manufacturers

Requirements:

B.Sc. in mechanical engineering

1-2 years of proven experience as an NPI or Manufacturing Engineer

Experience in building production portfolios and leading engineering changes

Experience with mechanical design and in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment

Experience with SolidWorks and EPDM (SolidWorks PDM)

Highly motivated and independent, with well-developed problem-solving abilities

Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with multidisciplinary entities - electronics, RF, and software

Electronics knowledge - an advantage
