ERP and Applications Engineer (Relocation to Thailand)

Job Summary:

Quasar’s IT Team has the responsibility of meeting technology needs of cross-functional teams as well as establishing robust solutions, security applications, and implementing IT Roadmap projects for automating processes.

The ERP and Applications Engineer is based in Thailand and responsible for the expert management and optimization of the ERP system along with other key applications such as WMS, MES, and future technology deployments. The role involves providing support to all sites outside of China, ensuring seamless operation and integration of systems, and coordinating with global teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary point of contact for the ERP system and other applications (WMS, MES, etc.) at all sites outside of China, providing expert-level support and ensuring system functionality.
2. Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring secure and efficient access across all platforms for operations at all sites outside of China.
3. Act as the liaison between users at all sites outside of China and the global development team, communicating requirements and supporting system enhancements.
4. Deliver comprehensive training sessions for users at all sites outside of China, focusing on maximizing effective use of the ERP and other applications.
5. Oversee the rollout and integration of new modules and applications, collaborating closely with IT consultants and development teams to ensure a seamless transition tailored to the needs of all sites outside of China.
6. Analyze and prioritize user change requests from all sites outside of China, coordinating with the development team to manage changes efficiently.
7. Monitor the testing and deployment of applications, ensuring they meet the operational standards and business needs of all sites outside of China.
8. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by IT leadership, with a focus on proactive enhancements and strategic development of IT infrastructure.

Education/Experience and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree or above in computer science, Information Systems or related qualification.
2. 3-5 years of experience in IT Application & ERP Support
3. Expert in application management and system optimization.
4. Strong communication and facilitation skills to effectively coordinate between site-specific and global teams.
5. Proactive, detail-oriented, and responsible in managing technology solutions.
6. Proficient in English with the ability to communicate complex system details effectively.
