Senior Unity Developer

Position Overview:

As a Senior Unity Developer, you will play a key role in developing our mobile games. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining game mechanics, systems, and features using Unity3D. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of artists, designers, and developers to create engaging gameplay experiences that captivate our players. Your expertise in Unity development and strong problem-solving and communication skills will be crucial in delivering high-quality games within project timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the game design team to understand and implement gameplay mechanics, systems, and features in Unity3D.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for game functionality, including player controls, AI behaviors, physics, animations, and UI elements.
• Optimize game performance and memory usage to ensure smooth gameplay experiences on various mobile devices.
• Work closely with artists to integrate assets and ensure they are optimized for performance and visual quality.
• Collaborate with other developers to develop and maintain game frameworks and tools that improve the efficiency and productivity of the development process.
• Debug and fix technical issues, including gameplay, performance, and compatibility problems.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in game development, and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Extensive experience in game development using Unity3D, with at least 5 years of professional experience in mobile game development.
• Strong programming skills in C# and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing gameplay mechanics, systems, and features for mobile games.
• Proficiency in optimizing mobile games for performance and memory usage.
• Experience with mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and knowledge of their specific requirements and limitations.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other game development frameworks, such as Unreal Engine or Cocos2d.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages, such as C++ or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Passion for games and a deep understanding of current trends and market demands.
