IT and Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT and Infrastructure Manager to oversee and manage the company's day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, and support systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our IT infrastructure is running smoothly and securely, both locally and in alignment with global company requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing IT operations, Windows servers (90%) and Linux servers (10%), cloud services (particularly Azure), system administration, networking, leading a team of IT professionals and work closely with R&D and DEVOPS teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Management:

• Oversee the helpdesk operations ensuring timely and efficient support for end users.
• Monitor the healthiness of all office support systems and proactively address potential issues.
• Manage IT equipment inventory.
• Negotiate with IT solution providers, service providers, hosting partners, and suppliers.
• Utilize monitoring tools to ensure uptime and performance of infrastructure and services.
• Work closely with the local security manager to implement security measures, mitigate vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Manage and maintain Azure Cloud infrastructure.
• Align local IT operations with global requirements and corporate guidelines.
• Report to global teams and adjust local practices based on global needs.
• Manage the production servers, including patching, security mitigation, and backup procedures.
• Ensure uptime and optimal performance of critical systems.

1. Network Management:

• Manage the company’s internal and external networks, ensuring security and performance.
• Oversee the management of network appliances such as firewalls, load balancers, and VPN solutions.
• Manage and maintain the company’s digital telephony services.
• Oversee the production infrastructure, including servers, load balancers, firewalls, Active Directory, VPN, SSL Certificates, and communication lines.
• Ensure network reliability and security for all business-critical services.
• Manage Active Directory and domain controllers.
• Oversee and configure DHCP and DNS servers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT and infrastructure management, preferably in a fintech or global company setting.
• Expertise in managing Azure cloud services and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SSL certificates, and networking protocols.
• Familiarity with security and monitoring tools
• Demonstrated experience in managing production systems, patch management, backup solutions, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of HTTP principles and web application security.
• Experience working with global IT operations, including reporting and adjusting to corporate guidelines.
• Team management and leadership.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to IT challenges.
• Experience managing IT in a hybrid environment (cloud and on-premise).
• Ability to manage and negotiate with external IT service providers.
