ADAMA is looking for Product Launch & Pricing Manager which will be responsible to drive launch & pricing excellence for prioritized ADAMA products.
Responsibilities:
Frame & run the product value pricing/ positioning approach:
- Drive the pricing / positioning (or repositioning) exercise for prioritized ADAMA products based on Value Based Pricing methods (Value Map, Economic Value for Customers, etc.), in collaboration with Global Product Managers & local/regional Marketing & Sales teams.
- Frame a standard approach for Global Product Managers to use in autonomy for non-prioritized ADAMA products.
- Coordinate the relations with external providers for Market Research (brief, ensure delivery quality, use outputs, etc.) & consolidate insights in key ADAMA segments to build and update in-depth knowledge of market trends/dynamics, competitive landscape, critical market success factors, customer needs, gaps, etc.
- Strengthen the link between Local markets & Global P&I (and within Global P&I) to ensure products developed & launched answer the needs / gaps identified in the field.
Manage ADAMA’s Product Launch Excellence Program (PLEP):
- Full responsibility to drive the Product Launch Excellence program:
- Collect feedback & continuously improve the PLEP (process, milestones, templates, deliverables) to ensure effectiveness and completeness while maximizing efficiencies.
- Implement the PLEP approach for non-prioritized products launches.
- Assess capability at global/regional/local levels & ensure appropriate awareness and trainings.
- Support Sector Heads in the definition of launches that enter the PLEP every year.
- Manage the Marketing budget (Campaigns / Market research) allocation across PLEP products based on Product Manager’s needs, and in collaboration with the Commercial Excellence Manager, the Sector Heads & the Branding team.
- Ensure PLEP implementation through the definition of a launch roadmap for all PLEP products with Global Product Manager & local/regional teams.
- Design & run the progress tracking process / feedback mechanism (governance, KPIs, content to be validated, etc.) for activities before/during/post product launch to ensure objective quality standards as part of the follow-up, as well as the associated reporting.
- Define, implement & follow the KPIs to measure product launch success.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Finance/Economics/degree in a scientific or engineering discipline from a leading university – must (MA or MBA preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in product positioning and pricing, preferably in consultancy/industrial companies
- Teamwork and project management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Can do approach, deals well in a high workload environment.
- A “details” person which can see the big picture.
- Proactive and deals well with ambiguity and dynamic environment.
- Fluent English is a must. Fluency in other languages - a plus.
