Algorithmic Trading Systems Architect

We are seeking talented and experienced Algorithmic Trading Systems Product Manager to lead and contribute the product roadmap, design, development, and implementation of our next-generation trading systems infrastructure.

Role Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in product roadmap, vision, functionality and designing, and optimizing complex algorithmic trading platforms.

You will collaborate with trading strategists, quantitative researchers, and technology teams to build high-performance, low-latency trading systems that handle vast amounts of real-time market data and execute trades across multiple asset classes.

Your experience in e-trading systems wil help drive the evolution of our platform to stay ahead of the competition in an ever-changing market environment.

Key Responsibilities:

System Architecture & Design and Product Managements/Ownership:

• Participate in scoping, evaluation, design of resilient, and high-performance trading systems for executing algorithmic strategies in real-time markets.
• Help define the product roadmap for algorithmic trading tools and systems.
• Align the product’s features with market needs, client feedback, and business goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work with traders, quants, developers, and business teams to prioritize features.
• Communicate technical requirements effectively across teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, quantitative analysts, and operations staff, to deliver comprehensive trading infrastructure solutions.
• Tech Stack Evolution:
• Assess new features and methodologies to keep the trading systems on the cutting edge
• Documentation & Best Practices: Document system architecture, design decisions, and implementation details. Define coding standards, performance benchmarks, and testing procedures.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor business and systems analysts and indirectly engineers and guide teams in best practices for scode quality, and operational excellence.

Required/Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Solid experience in either development, product management or quality assurance of algorithmic trading systems.
• Trading Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and key concepts in algorithmic trading, including market microstructure, execution strategies, and order types.
• Cloud & Distributed Computing: Experience with cloud computing in the context of trading systems.
• Degree: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields.
• HFT/MFT Expertise: Previous work experience in a high/mid-frequency trading environment preferred.
