What are we looking for?

A full-time Electrical Engineer (Heavy-current, Electrician-Engineer license) that will hold end-to-end responsibility for energy storage solutions at nGrid. This responsibility includes:

Detailed design of behind-the-meter energy storage facilities based on commercial products and the physical and electrical constraints of the project site, which one must assess and understand
The ability to critically review own design, independently and with consultants
Technical surveys of state-of-the-art commercial products (e.g. industrial lithium batteries, invertors, transformers etc.)
Technical assessment of commercial offers of energy products
Integrate and manage multiple aspects of the project from design to installation (including but not limited to communication, civil work and safety)
Work alongside R&D and commercial arms to tailor the optimal energy solution with respect to nGrid’s value proposition

Who are we looking for?

Strong technical hands-on expertise in Heavy-current Electrical Engineering, with a focus on energy storage and solar systems
Proficiency in execution-level planning, ensuring designs are ready for construction and on-site implementation and useable by thirds parties (e.g. contractors)
In-depth experience with relevant technical surveys
Experience in field-based construction projects and the ability to conduct site assessments beyond office-based planning
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Highly detail-oriented
A great sense of humor

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Electrician-Engineer license, a Master’s degree is a plus

Professional Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, preferably within storage, solar energy, or renewable energy projects

Deep familiarity with storage technologies (batteries, invertors, transformers) and communication solutions used in energy storage systems is a plus

Technical Proficiency:

Project Experience: Demonstrated experience in construction-level project planning and execution, with a focus on field-based applications

Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical engineering or renewable energy systems are a plus

Software Skills: Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP) and project management tools

מה אנחנו מחפשים?

אנו מחפשים מהנדס/ת חשמל זרם חזק עם רישיון חשמלאי-מהנדס (משרה מלאה)

במסגרת התפקיד, המהנדס/ת יהיה אחראי/ת על תכנון, ליווי ופיקוח של התקנות של מערכות אגירת אנרגיה מתקדמות

העבודה כוללת עבודה בשטח ובמשרד, בשיתוף פעולה עם ספקים, לקוחות וצוותי שטח

במסגרת התפקיד, האחריות כוללת:

•⁠ ⁠תכנון מפורט של מערכות חשמל עבור אגירה מאחורי המונה

•⁠ ⁠הבטחת התאמה לסטנדרטים טכניים ורגולטוריים בתכנון ובהתקנה

•⁠ ⁠ביצוע סיורי שטח לניתוח והבנת מערכות החשמל הקיימות של הלקוח

•⁠ ⁠ביצוע סקרים טכניים למרכיבים הכוללים סוללות ליתיום, ממירים, שנאים, חיווט ופתרונות תקשורת

•⁠ ⁠פיקוח על התקנות בשטח ובדיקת עמידה בדרישות התקנים והבטיחות

•⁠ ⁠תרגום ניתוחים טכניים לכדי פתרונות מעשיים ותוכניות ביצוע
