Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high-precision robotic systems tailored for specialized applications.

• Engineer and integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into seamless, high-performance systems.

• Develop micro-scale actuation and control systems to achieve exceptional precision and reliability.

• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation processes to ensure systems meet stringent performance and safety standards.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including experts in cosmetics and dermatology, to align innovations with end-user needs.

• Drive optimization for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing.

• Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate the latest advancements in robotics, AI, and automation into the design process.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree with exceptional experience will also be considered).

• 5+ years of proven experience in robotics, automation, or precision engineering, particularly in micro-scale applications.

• Expertise in mechanical design, sensor integration, and control systems.

• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM).

• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards, particularly for medical or cosmetic devices, is a strong plus.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure, innovative environments.

• Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB) - an advantage

Preferred Skills

• Academic leadership or teaching experience in mechatronics, robotics, or related disciplines.

• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and computer vision in robotics applications.

• Experience in developing haptic feedback mechanisms and user-centered designs.

• Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance for medical technology.
