A Day in the Life

As a Product Engineer at Medtronic, you will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team. Our working set-up allows for both remote (1 day) and on-site work, with our primary office located in Jerusalem. Occasional travel to subcontractors within the country and abroad may be required to meet with stakeholders. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Supporting and responding to production requirements with an emphasis on working with subcontractors
• Promoting engineering projects and supporting engineering requirements
• Process validation and equipment on the line
• Writing and updating protocols and procedures as needed
• Create engineering change order (ECOs), Updating production files in the AGILE (PDM) system WI (work instruction), equipment files
• Conducting investigations and analyzing data, perform process and/or machine failure investigations (NCR, Corrective and preventive action, root cause analysis)
• Performing various engineering and analytical tasks as needed
  
  

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical /Mechanical / Materials / Biomedical engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Medical industry
• Small / Medium Projects management experience
• Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and methods
• Proficiency in SOLID and VISIO software -Advantage
• Experience working with the AGILE system--Advantage
• Experience in updating and creating Mechanical drawings --Advantage
• Good communication skills with superiors, peers, and subordinates
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize deliverables based upon project criticality
• Team player, with experience working in a matrix organizational structure
• Proficient in both written and oral communication, in both Hebrew and English
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
