Network Architecture and Engineering Expert

STARTICA is looking for a Network Architecture and Engineering Expert to design and implement advanced communication systems, supporting the critical operations of a leading financial institution in Lod.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design new communication architectures and evaluate technology and product solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
• Draft comprehensive RFPs, engineering plans, and integration documentation.
• Write and maintain network architecture documentation for communication networks.
• Manage network engineering across data centers, campus networks, branch communications, remote sites, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
• Serve as a Cisco system expert and third-level support for complex network issues.

Role Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in network engineering within large organizations.
• Network Protocols & Interoperability: Deep understanding of network protocols and system interoperability.
• Cloud Knowledge: Proficiency in AWS cloud environments.
• Programming Skills: Competence in scripting and development in Java and Python.
• Cisco Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience with Cisco communication infrastructure design and operations.
• Network Monitoring & Control: Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Gigamon, Spectrum, and Shark.
• Wi-Fi Infrastructure Design: Experience in Wi-Fi infrastructure is an advantage.
• Automation & Cloud Environments: Experience with network and cloud automation is a plus.
• Network Operations Monitoring (NOM): Strong familiarity with NOM architectures and requirements analysis.
• Team Management Potential: Experience or potential in managing professional teams is a plus.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Communication (preferred); relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.
• English Proficiency: Advanced written and spoken English is required, with experience in supporting overseas clients.
