System Engineer - Project Development Lead

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced System Engineer to lead project development from the initial definition stage through to delivery to the client. This role requires the ability to work directly with clients, gather and analyze requirements, bridge the gap between client needs and the company's development capabilities, and produce a product that meets the client's high expectations. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of the technical development process, not just managing it, and who can drive the project forward from both the client's and the company's perspectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development projects from the definition stage to delivery to the client
• Work directly with clients to gather requirements and understand their needs
• Coordinate between different development teams to create tailored solutions
• Manage a team of approximately 5 engineers, including task coordination and providing feedback
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines
• Handle technical communication with suppliers and external partners

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in developing integrated hardware and software systems
• Experience leading a small team of engineers through a full project lifecycle from definition to delivery
• Excellent technical communication skills with clients and suppliers
• Knowledge in image processing – advantage for knowledge in SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping)
• Experience working with drones – advantage
• Development experience in C++ (minimum of 2 years required)
• Development experience in Python – advantage
• Familiarity with ROS2 (Robot Operating System 2) – advantage
• Experience working on JETSON platforms – advantage
• Experience working with Raspberry Pi – advantage
