Job Description

Ceragon is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Software Development to lead a Network Management product line. This role involves overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from system requirements to GA, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development management, a proven track record in product development, and the ability to drive multi-national, cross-functional teams towards success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the development team to deliver high-quality product on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement product development strategies and innovation aligned with Ceragon's business goals.
• Oversee all stages of product development, effort estimation, design, development, testing, and launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and customer support to ensure cohesive product development and launch.
• Ensure that all product development processes are efficient and adhere to Telecommunication industry standards and best practices.
• Communicate product plans, progress, and challenges to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Manage product development budgets and resources effectively.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in multi-national, multi-disciplinary software development with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communication network management
• Experience with agile product development methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing products to market on time and within budget.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
