QA Engineer - Student Position

OurCrowd is looking for a student with a passion for quality. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a critical member of the development team, working to develop core functionality and test accordingly. You'll perform both exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate must have high attention to detail and be exceptionally good at identifying inconsistencies and flaws.

Responsibilities:

• Test new development and bug fixes, identify defects, and document them in Jira.
• Write new manual test cases that include full scenarios to be covered in test cycles.
• Maintain and update existing manual and automated test cases.
• Participate in pod daily standups.
• Participate in pod rituals, including sprint planning, project kickoffs, demos, and other collaborative sessions.
• Participate in QA guild meetings.
  
  

• Computer Science Student- Advantage
• Available for 25 - 30 hours a week
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Working out of the Jerusalem or Tel Aviv office 2 -3 days a week
• Strong background in desktop and mobile web testing for complex hybrid applications
• Experience in testing mobile apps for iOS and Android an advantage
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting an advantage
• Experience working in an Agile development process
• Self-starter with great attention to detail to spot flaws and inconsistencies
• Analytical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
