Controller

We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to join our growing startup! Reporting directly to our VP of Finance & Operations, you’ll be at the core of our finance team, handling key accounting tasks and supporting financial operations for our SaaS B2B business. You’ll manage accounts receivable and payable, assist with monthly closing, prepare financial statements, and work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes. About the role:

• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes to ensure accurate and timely payments
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records
• Support budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors as needed
• Prepare tax reports for local authorities in Israel and the US and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage mechanisms for commission and payroll payments
• Monitor and report on cash flow, expenses, and revenue trends
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Graduate of a Big 4 accounting firm, preferably with a high-tech focus
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS, B2B, or startup environment including at least one position in a global SaaS company with U.S. operations
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
