We’re seeking a highly skilled and visionary R&D Team Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of our platform’s core technologies. The ideal candidate is a technical expert with leadership experience, passionate about breaking new ground in AI, real-time video, and e-commerce.

Role Description

• Lead R&D Initiatives: Drive mission-critical projects across AI-driven personalization, real-time interactive video features, and seamless e-commerce integrations.
• Push Technical Boundaries: Explore and implement innovative solutions, optimize technical approaches, and ensure delivery of cutting-edge products at scale.
• Architect and Optimize: Design and evolve the platform’s architecture to support secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions for millions of users.
• Collaborate Globally: Work with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align R&D efforts with company goals and deliver measurable value.
• Mentor and Inspire: Lead a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical mastery, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Leverage Data and Trends: Use data, user feedback, and market insights to refine projects and ensure Tolstoy remains at the forefront of industry advancements.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Expertise:

• At least 5 years Proven experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript, and AWS cloud architecture.
• Strong skills in designing and scaling complex systems.
• Background in AI, real-time video, or e-commerce platforms is a major plus.

Leadership Experience:

• At least 1 years of experience leading technical teams and projects.
• Ability to inspire and mentor engineers, driving technical excellence.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

• Ability to tackle complex challenges and design scalable solutions.
• Strategic thinker who can align technical efforts with broader business goals.
