Procurement manager

A leading global company in the infrastructure domain is seeking aProcurement Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement management, and vendor relationship management. This role involves strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices. The Procurement Manager will work closely with various departments to meet the company's purchasing requirements and support operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing and supply chain optimization.
Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to forecast demand and manage supply.
Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in procurement.
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business operations and objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in global procurement in the construction/infrastructure domain- a MUST
Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in working with Oracle.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
