Deep Learning Computer Vision Algorithms Team Leader

*About the Position:*

Our team is responsible for developing innovative products in the in-cabin sensing line using computer vision and deep learning technologies. The team leader will guide the development of new algorithms, manage the team, and drive the creation of new AI-based products. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the automotive domain with cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

- Lead the development of in-cabin sensing products based on Deep Learning and Computer Vision algorithms.

- Create new algorithms based on product line requirements or propose innovative ideas based on emerging technologies.

- Guide the development of new algorithms from concept to working POC and in-car demonstrations.

- Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of algorithm engineers (full/part-time).

- Collaborate closely with product line managers and other R&D teams.

- Be part of a global R&D operation with a dynamic local team.

Qualifications

- MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields. PhD or Post-Doc is a strong advantage.

- At least 10 years of experience in machine vision algorithm development (classical and DL).

- At least 4 years of experience as a team leader.

- Strong mathematical and research skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.).

- Experience in optics, 3D modeling, or automotive products – a strong advantage.

- A problem solver and a team player.

- Fluent in English, experience in a multinational company is an advantage.
