We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader with exceptional technical and communication skills to join our team as the R&D Team Lead for the data platform.
This role responsibilities, with a focus on building our data platform and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines within our next-generation infrastructure platform. You will lead a team of data engineers to design and implement a data platform using tools such as dbt, Airflow ,Python, Spark and other components of the modern data stack, while maintaining high technical standards and performance.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of experience as an R&D Team Lead.
- Experience designing and building scalable data platforms in a SaaS company.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and manage distributed cross-functional R&D teams, mentorship skills, fostering a collaborative and communicative team environment.
- Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, manipulation, designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, emphasizing monitoring, supportability, and resource optimization.
- Expertise with data orchestration and workflow tools (Apache Airflow, Dagster etc).
