Hands-On Architect

We are seeking an experienced Hands-On Architect to join our team. As a Hands-On Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable and available SaaS products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in big data technologies, databases (SQL and NoSQL), microservices architecture, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS. Additionally, experience with Spark, Ruby, and Python will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement highly scalable and available SaaS products
• Work with the development team to build and maintain microservices-based architecture
• Develop database schema and manage databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Work with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ElasticSearch
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Athena and Lambda
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code using programming languages such as Go, Ruby, and Python
• Work with DevOps team to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the product to meet industry standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• Implement CI/CD pipeline for continuous delivery and deployment
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Report to the VP of R&D

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software development
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ElasticSearch
• Proficiency in databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Go, Ruby, and Python
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline for continuous delivery and deployment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
