Role Description:
As an IT Development Project Manager, Product Manager, and PMO, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet client requirements, align with product vision, and adhere to project timelines. The role requires strong project management expertise, product management skills, and PMO experience, combined with exceptional communication, conflict management, and technical documentation abilities.
You will manage all aspects of project lifecycles, from requirements gathering and design to execution and delivery, while overseeing product development goals and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role also involves writing detailed design documents, responding to bids, and producing quotes for prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for IT development projects, ensuring timely, scope-compliant, and budget-conscious completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, product owners, and external stakeholders.
- Utilize project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, depending on project needs.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain project documentation including timelines, budgets, reports, and design documents.
Product Management:
- Act as a key product owner, managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for development teams.
- Lead the development of tailored solutions, ensuring they align with client needs and overall business goals.
PMO Duties:
- Oversee governance for multiple projects, ensuring consistency in documentation and project reporting.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Manage resource allocation, prioritization, and alignment of project goals with company objectives.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project performance.
Documentation & Communication:
- Write design documents and detailed technical designs to guide development and stakeholder communication.
- Respond to bids and write professional quotes for prospective clients.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration within the development team to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Seamlessly collaborate with multi-regional teams across different time zones, demonstrating high-level English communication skills (both written and spoken).
- Manage conflict resolution within the team and with external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Tool Proficiency:
- Work proficiently with project management tools such as Jira, and design tools such as Figma and Axure .
- Familiar with ERP systems to align development with enterprise resource planning requirements.
- Use the full Microsoft Office Suite to manage reports, presentations, and project documents.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience managing IT development projects, including acting as both a Project Manager and Product Manager.
- Experience working within a PMO framework, managing governance and overseeing multiple projects.
- Proficiency in writing design documents, detailed technical specifications, and professional quotes.
- Strong familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Figma, and Axure.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- High-level English proficiency (both written and spoken) for clear communication across multi-regional teams.
- Conflict management skills with experience handling project-related challenges and ensuring resolution.
- Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for project documentation and reporting.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
