Financial Controller - JB-3042

Hi-Tech company in the SAAS field is looking for an experienced FINANCIAL CONTROLLER. The ideal candidate should have a few years of experience as a Financial Controller in the hi-tech industry (an advantage to SaaS startups), possess hands-on and self-learning abilities and interpersonal skills, and serve as a strong team player.

With a deep understanding of accounting and financial reporting, the Financial Controller will ensure that business operations are aligned with the company's policies and will be responsible for the accuracy and data integrity of the financial statements and records. As a Financial Controller, you will hold a high level of responsibility and trust within the organization. The ideal candidate for this role is independent, responsible, and professional and can work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-organizational team.

What you’ll be doing:

● Perform Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, overseeing the preparation of necessary financial statements, tax filings, and consolidated financial statements, while maintaining ongoing collaboration with external accountants.

● Work closely with various interfaces within the finance (FP&A, bookkeeping, billing) and other departments in the organization.

● Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards, managing accounting procedures including Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), R&D Capitalization, Lease Accounting, Stock Compensation (ASC 718) and additional regulatory requirements.

● Assist with local & international tax-related matters.

● Support all FP&A-related activities, including supervising procurement, bookkeeping, commercial databases, etc.

● Support in preparing management reports and presentations for board meetings and investors.

● Manage audit processes and work closely with external auditors during the annual audit.

● Ad-hoc projects, as well as automation projects and process improvements.

Who you are:

● Bachelor’s degree in accounting – a MUST

● CPA from a Big4 accounting firm – High-Tech sector

● At least 2-3 positions as a controller/assistant-controller with a hi-tech company (SaaS startup – advantage)

● Experience in supporting FP&A activities or role is an advantage

● Excellent computer skills; experience using NetSuite (ERP) – a MUST

● Ability to work in a fast-paced global company, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.

● Fluent English (spoken and written)

● Strong hands-on approach, proactive, quick learner, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
