Technical Writer

GigaSpaces is looking for a dynamic technical writer who thrives in fast-moving, startup-like environments. This role will drive high-impact documentation for our suite of products, including a new GenAI-powered SaaS solution, while continuing to support our established product lines. We’re seeking someone passionate about creating intuitive content that empowers users and cultivates growth.

Reporting to our VP Product, this position is full time, hybrid and located in Herzeliya.

Objectives of this position

• Develop high-quality, user-centered documentation that addresses the distinct needs of our products, especially focusing on the new GenAI-powered SaaS offering, crafted to match its mid-market audience and SaaS delivery model.
• Create clear, accessible documentation that not only supports user success but also encourages product adoption and growth.
• Maintain and update documentation for established enterprise products, focusing on incremental enhancements to keep content relevant and aligned with current standards.
• Organize and structure documentation using design principles, ensuring it is intuitive and easily navigable by a diverse range of users across our product suite.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and customer success teams to research, draft, and refine user-centric documentation that supports the entire customer journey.
• Independently gather insights from subject matter experts to create intuitive user guides, best practices, and procedural resources tailored to a SaaS audience.
• Partner with product marketing to ensure technical content aligns seamlessly with product positioning and strengthens messaging consistency across platforms.
• Design and maintain flexible documentation templates that streamline content updates and support quick iteration cycles for SaaS releases.
• Explore and leverage alternative media formats to optimize usability and deliver a cohesive, engaging experience across all documentation channels.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field that combines technical and business knowledge.
• 4+ years of experience as an effective technical writer with a strong background in documenting SaaS products.
• Proven ability to quickly learn while continuously delivering.
• Previous experience writing documentation for multiple audiences
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
• Experience in user experience. Help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical documentation content
• Experience using Flare to create documentation
• Experience using source control tools to maintain documentation versions
• Native English level - must

• Experience crafting user-focused microcopy.
• Proficient in API documentation.
• Skilled in creating video snippets to enhance user experience
• Firm understanding of the systems development life cycle
• Experience with AI-powered solutions
• Skilled in leveraging user feedback to continuously improve documentation.
• Experience with content performance metrics to enhance SaaS user engagement.
• Certification through the Society for Technical Communicators or a similar recognizable organization
